On Monday, February 8th I had the honor of speaking at the Getting the E-Word Out Symposium in Chicago sponsored by Office of LGBT Health & Office of Substance Abuse and Tobacco Control Programs, and the Chicago Department of Public Health.
As the keynote speaker I was charged with spreading the Network message and importance of Social Media.
I also sat on a panel with 4 other amazing community advocates that were most knowledgeable in social media:
Gordon Mayer, Vice President, Community Media Workshop, Columbia College
Christine Cupaiuolo, Social Media Consultant
Lovette Ajayi, The Red Pump Project for HIV Awareness
Jim Pickett, Director of Advocacy AIDS Foundation of Chicago & founder of LifeLube site/blog for Gay Men’s Health
